The school has a significant role in the Springbrook Community. Our facilities and resources are made available to support local events and organizations.

It is the designated base for the Care Flight Helicopter base and the Gold Coast Council library has an iAccess kiosk located in the administration block. The kiosk enables the public to access local and international digital information resources through controlled internet access. Items borrowed are delivered to the school every Tuesday.

Fundraising is a major activity of the P&C and contributes to extra facilities, equipment and resources for the students and the school.Community members actively participate in the school through monthly Parents and Citizens’ meetings and volunteer with tuckshop, working bees, excursions, classroom and co curricula activities.
